The growth of summer regional events and festivals is leaving Hartlebury based AndyLoos Limited feeling well and truly flushed.
Thanks to the growing abundance of events and festivals in and around Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire AndyLoos, the largest UK portable toilet rental specialist, has seen its turnover increase by 20% as well as generating new jobs for the region.
The company’s national depot and head office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, provides a perfect base to service all types of events, festivals and fayres around the region; co-ordinating the delivery, installation and servicing of all of its portable toilets and showers at events.
To meet this growing demand for local outdoor events the company has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in a new fleet of AndyLoos branded Mercedes delivery vehicles, as well as upgrading existing toilets and purchasing brand new stock for this year’s summer season.
“The growing popularity of regional sporting, cultural and music events such as the Fairford Air Tattoo and Forest Live at Westonbrit is good news for companies like us who provide essential services for events,” explains Adam Houchen, Managing Director of AndyLoos.
“In addition, the appetite for local, community events is growing year on year with new events being introduced every year and established ones growing in size. All of this is good for business!”
During the summer season AndyLoos drafts in 40 temporary employees to meet the increasing customer demand, as well as utilising a network of sub contracted haulage companies to help with delivering and collecting the portable toilet and showering units.
So far this year AndyLoos’ Hartlebury depot has secured and supplied its award winning portable toilets for the 150,000 visitors to the Fairford Air Show, to the hundreds of thousands of visitors who attend race meetings at Cheltenham Race Course including the Gold Cup Meeting in March and for thousands enjoying live music at Weston Birt. The company also provides welcome relief for the players and visitors attending events at Gloucester County Cricket Club throughout the summer and at the Wychwood Festival held at Cheltenham Race Course.
The increase in popularity of local events (for local people) means companies like AndyLoos are in big demand. The company recently provided a range of toilet and shower units for the visitors at the Upton Folk Festival, Bournville Festival and a combination of VIP trailers and standard portable toilets for the drivers and guests at the Chateau Impney Hill Climb. Forthcoming local events include Salt & Light at the Three Counties Showground, the Nozstock Festival in Bromyard and the Tenbury Wells Show.
