AndyLoos has been completely bowled over with the announcement of nominations for this year’s UK Festival Awards – with 11 of the events it provided facilities for being nominated for the coveted title of ‘best toilet’.
The festivals include Beautiful Days and Green Man, who each received four nominations and will compete for the prize of best family festival, best grass roots festival, best medium sized festival and, of course, best toilets.
Elsewhere, three festivals organised by leading live music company, MAMA, have also been nominated for their toilets – SomerSault Festival, Global Gathering and Wilderness. AndyLoos provided 1500 toilet and shower units across the three events ranging from the now legendary standard AndyLoos units and including a selection of its top-end luxury AndyLoos trailers for the VIP areas from the company’s newly launched ‘Signature’ range.
Other AndyLoos’ festival customers feeling flushed after being nominated for best toilet facilities include the Larmer Tree festival, Boardmasters, NASS Festival and Port Eliot.
And last, but by no means least, is the End of the Road Festival, which also received a nomination for its fantastic, flushable facilities. After a successful trial last year the festival organisers decided to continue the move away from AndyLoos standard chemical units instead choosing the company’s award winning eco-toilet across many parts of the site. AndyLoos provided 60 of its eco-toilets to the event. The End of the Road Festival is amongst a number of AndyLoos regular customers making the switch from traditional to eco-units.
Indeed one festival go-er was so impressed with the facilities they were compelled to write: “At the other end of the spectrum, the toilets here are great, AndyLoos offer the awesome big white ‘vac-loos’ and the ‘6 Unit’ Urinals here, and they’re kept in spotless nick. These loos are so nice that we seriously consider a ‘Andy Loos Festival Tour 2015’ only going to festivals where they provide the toilets.”
