AndyLoos Disabled Loos For 'One Big Day' Events

Motability has once again called on AndyLoos to provide a range of disabled bathroom facilities and high dependency units at its One Big Day events being held across the country this summer.
Motability is a national scheme that provides a simple way for disabled people and their families to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair without the burden of owning and maintaining it.
The organisation is running a series of events throughout the UK throughout the summer months to promote the scheme and to provide visitors with an opportunity to see, and test-drive, the latest cars and models.
A high proportion of visitors to the One Big Event days will be disabled or have limited mobility and having provided excellent facilities, customer service and on-the day attendants at last year’s events, the organisers once again called on AndyLoos to provide the much-needed toilet facilities for visitors.
AndyLoos luxury toilets with disabled access are fitted in a contemporary design featuring a high gloss laminate finished with a light, walnut-effect trim. Access to the units is via a gentle ramp with fitted handrail and each unit includes an emergency call alarm system should users get into difficulty. The units are also suitable for the elderly or infirm as there is plenty of space to move around inside. Units can either be linked to a mains water supply or be self-contained..
AndyLoos are also providing their high specification High Dependency Unit to the events. Designed in association with MENCAP the High Dependency Unit incorporates many of the facilities of the disabled luxury toilet unit but also features a fully automatic tracking hoist, height-adjustable changing couch, and more than adequate space for the disabled person and up to two carers to easily move around. AndyLoos were the first to offer such a highly specialised unit to the event industry and remain the only company to manufacture them in the UK.
AndyLoos will also provide an attendant at each event to ensure that the facilities are fully serviced throughout and kept well stocked with the all important toilet paper.
